Staying at a bed and breakfast is a great, even romantic way to get away from it all. Here are some tips to make it easy and enjoyable.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Let the owners of the B&B know of any allergies you may have. If you are allergic to pets, then it's probably a good idea to stay away from B&B's that have household pets around.

  2. Step 2

Similarly, if you are traveling with a pet, call the inn in advance to see if they allow pets on the premises. If not, local shelters are often available.

  3. Step 3

Check to see what type of bathroom system the inn offers. Sometimes, you may have to share the bathroom with the owners or other guests, which can lead to some stressful situations.
