Here is the recipe for the all time favorite Kettle Corn! My daughter loves this stuff. It is sweet and salty!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  1. Step 1

Heat vegetable oil in a large kettle over medium heat. Then, toss in three kernels, and place the lid on the kettle. Wait for the kernels to pop.

  2. Step 2

Once popped, quickly stir in the sugar, and add the remaining kernels. Replace the lid, and listen for the kernels to start popping.

  3. Step 3

Then, remove the kettle from the stove, and shake to keep the kernels from burning. Return the kettle to the stove for a few seconds; then, lift and shake again.

  4. Step 4

Repeat until all kernels have popped. Then, salt to taste, and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Interestingly, if you do a 50-50 with salt and sugar, it's really great.
