How to Increase Your Chances of Getting Autographed Pictures of Celebrities

Have you ever wondered how people get autographed pictures of celebrities without buying them on ebay? I will tell you step by step the easiest ways to get an autographed picture of a celebrity.

Things You'll Need:

• Pen
• Paper
• Letter-size Envelope
• Stamp
• Celebrity Address
• Large SASE
• Item for celeb to sign (optional)

1. 
    

   Find the celebrity's address that you are looking for. It will often be on their website. If not, you can google in "Contact info" and the celeb's name to find the address. You may also contact their agency or manager.

2. 
    

   Begin the letter by addressing the celebrity using their full name

3. When you write your letter, make it personal; don't just ask for an autograph. Include why you like the celebrity and comment on their work. If they have changed your life for the better in any way, be sure to include that as well.

4. 
    

   Tell them a little about yourself; your accomplishments and/or hardships.

5. Make sure to ask for the autograph, preferably at the end of your letter

6. Include a SASE (Self-Addressed, Stamped Envelope) in with your letter for a better chance at receiving a response. Make sure the envelope is big enough to accommodate a photo. You may need to fold it to fit in with your letter into the mailing envelope.

   You can increase your chances by sending an item for the celebrity to sign such as a picture, postcard or index card- keep it small

8. Make sure you have the correct amount of postage then send off your letter!!

Tips & Warnings

• Try not to make the letter too long
• Don't go overboard on your compliments to them
• You may not get a picture for up to 4 or 5 months after you send your letter
• Make sure to have enough postage for your return envelope
• Decorate the envelope you're sending with your letter with bright colors and/or stickers to make it more noticeable to the recipient
• Following the above steps does not guarantee that you will get an autographed picture from the celebrity
