Make Quick Frozen Grasshoppers
Make Quick Frozen Grasshoppers

There's nothing better to cool off on a hot day than a tasty frozen grasshopper drink. It combines an ice cream dessert with the delicious taste of mint and chocolate.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup creme de menthe (green color)
  • 1/2 cup creme de cacao (white color)
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 3 cups ice cubes
  1. Step 1

In a blender, combine the crème de menthe, crème de cacao, ice cream, and some ice. Only add half the ice at this time. Cover and blend until the mixture looks smooth.

  2. Step 2

Now add the rest of the ice and blend until smooth.

  3. Step 3

Serve in up to 8 glasses. You can first line the inside of the glasses with chocolate syrup for an extra twist. If you'd like, top the drink with whipped cream.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also add some chocolate shavings to the top, or even a sprig of mint for decoration.
