  • Computer
  • Microsoft Word 2000
  1. Step 1

    Open Microsoft Word 2000.

  2. Step 2

    Open the document that you wish to modify.

  3. Step 3

    Highlight the text that you wish to center by holding down the left mouse button and dragging the mouse across the characters.

  4. Step 4

    On the toolbar, you will find four alignment buttons. The second one is center. Click on it and the highlighted text will center.
