How to write a good article

Writing is almost a work of art. Catching someone's attention in such a crazy world is almost a gift. People do not have time to sit and enjoy a nice book or the Sunday newspaper as our grandparents did. So these are simple, simple tips to write a captivating article.

Things You’ll Need:

• A computer or piece of paper and a pen ( I would definitely recommend a computer)
• Some free time and the mind away from problems
• Imagination!
• And a little knowledge about the subject, of course!

1. First of all, remember that people nowadays have a lot of things going on at the same time and might think they do not have time to read... The title of the article is the most important part. It is the selling point! Write something that really attracts the attention. But be careful! One of the problems that happens with the Media is that they generate such fantastic titles and most of the times the article itself is not as exciting as the title. That may cause the public to loose interest on the writer.. and that could be YOU! So please be creative but careful...
2. The second step is making sure that you have done enough research on the subject, which we assume that you know enough about or have a very strong opinion about it, so that you do not end up making people angry or confused. Remember: once your name is related to something that does not please people, no matter how hard you try next time, you might not have a second chance. People are really critical, specially due to their lack of time. So they do want to spend their free time with something that at least ads up to their lives.
3. Once you have written your article, based on the principle of having an introduction, then developing the subject in around two paragraphs and then a simple conclusion avoiding harsh opinions; you must check your spelling - people are interested in learning new things, not having to correct the writer! And reading the article thoroughly is also a wise move! If it makes sense to you, might make sense to just about 99.9% of the people.

Tips & Warnings

• Never forget that when you are writing, you are not expressing yourself with hands, tone of voice or expressions - whatever is written is what the people will have access to - so be careful with your words!
• Never consider writing a novel! An article is something that is supposed to be informative and or entertaining, but if too long, won't even be considered!
