How to use Vamoose to Eliminate Cigarette Odor from a House or Apartment

Vamoose is odor remover designed specifically to remove cigarette odors. It works to dissolve the tar in cigarettes into a gas where it evaporates. Vamoose is particularly effective on porous surfaces like carpets and clothing. Use the product on an entire room by covering all of the surfaces, including ventilation systems, to eliminate odors. Use 2 gallons of Vamoose for a 2,000 sq. ft. home with a heavy smoke smell.

Things You'll Need

• Vamoose home treatment kit
• Mini-fogger
• Eye goggles
• Dust mask

Instructions

1. Prepare the home by emptying all the garbage bins and taking them outside. Vacuum the carpets, turn off the heat and air-conditioning systems, and close the windows.

2. Spray Vamoose on all surfaces in the home. Start at the top of each room and spray ceiling fans, vents, door and window frames. Use the mini-fogger to cover the large surfaces like the walls and doors.

3. Remove the filters in air-conditioning and ventilation units and turn them on so the air circulates. Spray Vamoose into the system with the mini-fogger. Replace the filters.

4. Leave the air-conditioning unit on for one hour to expedite the drying process. Open the windows when the product is dry. Wait 36 hours before using any other cleaning products.

Tips & Warnings

• Clean Vamoose off windows and other glass surfaces with plain water and a towel.

• Don't use Vamoose in the home if you have pets, children or other people inside.

• Always wear eye and mouth protection when using Vamoose.

• Keep Vamoose out of reach of children.
