How to use Vamoose to Eliminate Cigarette Odor from a House or Apartment

How to properly use Vamoose Cigarette Odor Eliminator to completely and permanently remove any cigarette smell or any other tobacco odors from your house or apartment.

Things You'll Need:

• Vamoose Cigarette Odor Eliminator (see usage guide at www.vamooseproducts.com for quantity required).
• Mini-fogger (Fogmaster Jr.-recommended)
• Eye Protection
• Dust Mask
• Terry Cloth Towels

1. Read all instructions, warnings and cautions, label on bottle and any other provided material before using.

2. Go to www.vamooseproducts.com and refer to the “Usage Guide for Homes” to assist in determining the quantity of product that is sufficient for use in a house or apartment and the A/C system.

3. Make sure that the A/C or HVAC system is off at this time.

4. Remove trash and loose articles from house or apartment and vacuum all carpets.

5. Treat house or apartment in segments leaving all windows and outside doors closed. This will allow for more control when applying the Vamoose product and will also help prevent the product from escaping before it's had time to dry.

6. When treating each room in a house or apartment, work from top to bottom, treating ceiling fans and register vents then all other exposed areas. Treat areas from the back of the room towards the door so that you’re working away from the area being treated. Use a spray-trigger bottle to apply the Vamoose product to both sides of ceiling fan blades, register vents, door and window frames. Use the mini-fogger to spray walls, ceilings, carpets, cabinets and closets.

7. Treat all exposed areas of the house or apartment that have been contaminated by cigarette and tobacco smoke.

8. If the house or apartment has an A/C or HVAC system, remove filters from all air-intake vents. Turn on system so that the blower remains on. Spray a sufficient amount of Vamoose into each in-take vent to remove any tar residue that has accumulated in the air-mover and air-duct system. Once completed, replace old filters with new ones.

9. Once completed, allow A/C to remain on for approximately one hour...this allows for a quicker and more complete drying of the Vamoose product.

10. After product has dried, open all doors and windows to allow fresh air.

11. Repeat steps above if any cigarette or tobacco odor returns after treatment. This product works by dissolving the tar residue that has accumulated as a result of cigarette or other tobacco smoke. Since this tar residue is the source of the odor being eliminated, once it is gone…the odor is too. For heavier contamination, additional applications may be required.

Tips & Warnings

• If used properly, this product will completely and permanently eliminate all cigarette and other tobacco odors.
• Treat entire house or apartment with Vamoose Fragrance Free, Fresh Scent or a combination thereof.
• Allow 24 to 36 hours before any additional cleaning of interior. After this, floors and countertops can be wiped off with a warm damp towel or the use of a mild detergent. Do not use alcohol-based products to clean Vamoose off of glass or hard surfaces.
• There is an odor that results from the Vamoose product coming into contact with the tar residue…this is referred to as the "conversion" odor. It usually doesn't last long but can help assist in finding the more concentrated deposits of tar. When you smell the "conversion" odor, you know that the tar deposits are dissolving and the product is working. Make a mental note of any area of application in which you notice this "conversion" odor during treatment; these are the areas that will require more of the Vamoose product during treatment to sufficiently eliminate the tar residue. The Vamoose Fragrance Free is recommended during the initial treatment since it allows the user to detect these “conversion” odors without the distraction of a fragrance. Once the house or apartment has been completely treated, the use of Vamoose Fresh Scent enhances a fresher more pleasant outcome.
• Wear eye protection and dust mask when using Vamoose in a closed environment or in close proximity to the face.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Remove all pets, animals, birds or reptiles that are in close proximity to the area being treated until the product has dried and environment has had time to air out.
• Do not spray Vamoose in the direction of other people.
• Do not spray Vamoose directly on windows. If Vamoose gets on glass, wipe off immediately with clean towel or spray more Vamoose on area and immediately wipe off. Do not use alcohol-based products to clean Vamoose off glass.
