One of the greatest things about growing up in the south is the wonderful dishes. The not-so-good thing about these dishes is most are fried. But they taste so delicious. Here is another southern favorite. Enjoy it!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Corn on the Cob
  • Knife
  • Skillet
  • Bowl
  • 1 Tblsp Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sugar
Step1
Pull shucks away from corn and remove all strings. Wash corn.
Step2
Cut the corn kernels away from the cob and place in bowl.
Step3
Put skillet on medium heat and add oil. Add corn kernels to hot skillet. Add salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Fry to a golden brown.
Step4
Serve with main dish.

Tips & Warnings

  • According to Healthy Frying, cooks should use pure vegetable oils such as sunflower, soya, corn and olive oil to reduce the fat intake.
