Today all airlines are in survival mode. All airlines are affected by high fuel prices. From the leisure to the business traveler everyone has to pay extremely high prices.Some airlines are getting rid of flights, pulling out markets, severely reducing services. We are at a time when it is more cost efficient to park a plane than to fill it with passengers.In this article you will learn how to save on air travel.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Be able to plan your flight in adavnce at least 4 weeks Internet acess-cheaper flights are always popping up on the internet

Step1
Buy Your tickets ahead of time.

Buying your tickets ahead of time will get you an affordable price. Allow at least a month before you buy your tickets.
Step2
Avoid using frequent flyer miles.

Frequent Flyer seats are being limited on all flights. At least for now you will be wasting your time trying to redeem them.
Step3
Avoid Non-stop Flights

Fly on flights that have at least one connection they are cheaper.

Example: A Non-stop flight from New York to Los Angeles is $1000. Having at least one connection can save you at least $200.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use alternative sources to flying train/bus/boat.
  • Make sure to plan and for your trip 4 weeks in advance
