How to Make Sour Cream Biscuits
Biscuits are a simple, delicious accompaniment to many meals and stews. There's no simpler recipe for soft biscuits than this one, calling for only two ingredients: sour cream and self-rising flour. The sour cream makes the biscuits so tender they put traditional ingredients to shame.

- 2 cups self rising flour (not all-purpose flour)
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream

Pre-heat an oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.

In a large bowl thoroughly mix the flour and the sour cream with a large spoon.

Drop 1/4 cup portions of the dough on the cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Tips & Warnings
Light sour cream works well for this recipe.
If you don't have self rising flour use a boxed biscuit mix instead.
To roll out the dough for cut out biscuits, flour the counter, place the dough on the surface, and pat it to 3/4 of an inch thick. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or an overturned glass.
