Spaghetti sauce and meatballs is an all time favorite for everyone.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 large onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup of red wine
  • 2 tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 40 oz can crushed tomatoes(drained of liquid
  • 40 oz can tomatoe puree
  • 3 sticks of celery
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • boiling water
  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 3tbs garlic powder
  • 3 tbs italian seasoning
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  1. Step 1
     

    first we need to make delicious tomatoes sauce. chop onions celery and carrot very finely and in a large pot saute in the olive oil until onions are transparent to light golden brown, add garlic and saute a little more until garlic starts to brown also.

  2. Step 2
     

    then add wine,tomatoe puree and drained ,crushed tomatoes and italian seasoning and allow to simmer reduce to 2/3 of original amount.

  3. Step 3
     

    Now we need to make meatballs. So you will need to boil a pot of water.
    add together in a large bowl ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs garlic powder, italian seasoning, salt and pepper and balsamic vinegar. Mix this mixture and roll out meatballs about 2"round and throw them into the boiling water and cook until brown all the way through o the center.(alternately you can bake these in the oven though your meatballs will not be as tender.) Then put these meatballs into the sauce to simmer for 15-20 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    cook yourself some spaghetti noodles in the water and voila, there you have it. The best delicious spaghetti and meatballs any italian ever made.

Tips & Warnings
  • serve with hot homemade foccacia bread and lots of parmesan cheese.
