You don't need crazy diets to lose weight. All you need to do is control your appetite and eat less. It may sound challenging, but here is a good way to trick your taste buds into wanting less.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
First understand that in losing weight, evolution is working against you. In the ancient times, whenever someone encountered a meal, their body told them to eat as much as possible because meals were unstable and hard to come by.
Step2
What does that mean? It means that when you sit down to eat something that is savor these days, your brain is sending out the same evolutionary survival signals to eat as much as you can. Notice that when you eat one french fry, you suddenly have a strong urge to eat more. Unfortunately, food these days is hardly unstable or hard to come by.
Step3
To fix this problem, you could eat only dull tasting food. But that wouldn't last and it would be a pain.
Step4
One way to trick your brain's evolutionary signals is to drink sugar water between meals. This fills you up, gives you some calories, and does it without being triggering your survival gorging instincts. Drink a good amount, about a pint between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner, and you will feel a lot less hungry. Combine that with an active awareness to not overeat, you will find it much easier to eat less.
Step5
This method should help you lose weight and KEEP it off because it doesn't require a crazy diet or anything else that is ultimately unsustainable.
