Have you ever been around people that don't appreciate anyting? Or maybe you are the person that doesn't appreciate anything. We all need to be more grateful lets find out how together

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
How do you react when people give you things? Do you show any emotion at all. Have your children or your friends ever told you how empty you act when you get gifts. Do you notice yourself getting less and less gifts. Do you ask for receipts when people buy you gifts so you can take it back. These are all signs of an ungrateful person.
Step2
One of the greatest things you can do for your children is to teach them to be grateful. No matter what the gift big or small you should be thankful that someone thought of you. I met people that will act like it Christmas if you give them some of your old clothes. Later I found out their parents taught them to be grateful when they were young. You get excited to give to someone that appreciates things. But when you give somebody a gift and they don't even open it, that makes the person feel bad. It is a blessing in itself just to be able to give, but your ungratefulness is robbing the giver of their joy.
Step3
Ungratefulness to me is a sort of a deep pride, your to good to show excitement about anything. Your to high to receive anything from anyone. You will find yourself getting more things if you learn to be more grateful. You may see people all around you getting things, and you wonder why are you overlooked.
Step4
Some people are even ungrateful to their spouses. How many times do we say thank you if are spouse buys us dinner. Is thank you a part of your vocabulary. Being grateful is easy its all about accepting the fact that someone thought about you and saying thank you. Remember the old saying its the thought that counts. Well next time someone gets anything for you, think about the thought they put into it. Next time someone gives you a gift, open it up and show some expression, shake their hands or give them a hug and say thank you. You will find yourself getting more and more gifts. You will also notice yourself being more grateful about things.
Step5
Have you ever asked yourself what are you grateful for? Reminding yourself all the things you are grateful will make you more appreciative of things. Lets say your car broke down, you might be grateful that you have money to get it fixed. Take a moment to think about everything you are grateful for you may find it surprising what you already have.
