By following these instructions carefully you will learn how to make roasted red pepper mayonnaise like they make in fancy restaurants.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • You will need a few fresh ingredients and a few dried spices. A 400 degree celcius oven. an electric whip a tray and a bowl.
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbs vinegar
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 2 fresh red bell peppers
  • tsp paprika
  • tsp cayenne pepper
  • and pinch of salt
  1. Step 1

first, coat the peppers in oil and roast in a hot oven until the skins begin to turn black. then peel and seed the peppers trying to reserve as much of the juices from the peppers as possible. sieve out the seeds and boil the juices on the stove top until reduced to a small amount of liquid.

  2. Step 2

then you will need to separate the eggs and put the yolks into the bowl and whip on high speed until a little stiff and light yellow then start to add oil little by little by little ( this is important, because if you don't add the oil slowly enough, the mixture will not stay thick ) then add a little vinegar and a little oil little by little until all the liquids are incorporated.

  3. Step 3

add the cooled pepper liquid, balsamic vinegar spices salt and pepper and some of the finely chopped pepper for color.

  4. Step 4

Remember to store this very carefully as it is real mayonnaise. It is a delicious and spice twist to an everyday favorite
