TREAT AND PREVENT RAZOR RASH
TREAT AND PREVENT RAZOR RASH

Razor rash is itchy, it burns, and luckily it is totally preventable! There is a way to shave your legs, underarms, and bikini zone without getting shaving bumps or razor rash!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Shaving Cream
  • Razor with a new blade
  • Warm to hot water
  • Soft towel
  • Aloe Vera gel or natural lotion.
  1. Step 1

Start by soaking the area you will be shaving in warm to hot water. You can do this by soaking in the bathtub or in the shower. Lather the areas you will be shaving with a shaving cream. Shaving with soap has a tendency to be drying and can cause you to have a greater chance of razor rash.

  2. Step 2

Shave your legs going AGAINST the grain using smooth, long strokes. The less the razor scrapes along the skin the better, so try to avoid chopping short strokes. Shave your underarms and bikini zone going WITH the grain. This will prevent shaving bumps.

  3. Step 3

After you have finished shaving all of your areas, make sure you moisturize your skin with either Aloe Vera gel or a good quality natural lotion. Choose one that is free of dyes, perfumes, or chemicals.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep all shaving creams and razors out of reach of children at all times.
