How to Clean Your Barbecue Grill

Time to clean the barbecue grill? Don't waste money on special cleaners. Just look to household products.

Things You'll Need

• baking soda
• aluminum foil
• oven cleaner
• cooking spray
• garbage bags

Instructions

1. Need to clean the grill? Take baking soda and make a paste with water. Apply with a wire brush. Wipe it clean and you are ready to cook!

2. Is the grill really dirty? Have some oven cleaner? Spray the grill with oven cleaner and then place in a trash bag and close. Set it out in the sun for a few hours, take out and then rinse with a hose. Or, if you need to clean your oven anyways, place the grill in the oven.

3. Aluminum foil can be a great cleaner too. After cooking, place a sheet of foil on the grill and close the lid. When the grill is cool, pull off the foil, crumble into a ball, and finish cleaning the grill.

4. 

   Got some cooking spray? I learned this a long time ago. Spray the grill before cooking and there will be less to clean up.

5. Why spend money on grill covers? Take a large leaf garbage bag and cover the grill. Unless, of course, you have one of those fancy, mega sized grills!
