If your in college you know that studying for finals at the end of the term can be extremely hard to manage, especially if you're taking more than one or two classes. Here are a couple tips to help you with your study regiment and manage the stress that follows.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Yourself
  • Food/Snacks
Step1
Get organized! Create a schedule/calendar listing when your finals are and the amount of time you want to set aside for each exam. Having this will help you stay on track and keep you focused.
Step2
Find a quiet relaxing study space. Eliminate all distractions including your mp3 player, laptop and cell phone. A library is a great place to do this.
Step3
When studying, take intermittent breaks every half-hour. Walk around for a little bit, call a loved one or friend or check your facebook. Don't let this short break turn into 20-30 minutes of procrastinating. Limit them to 10 minutes maximum.
Step4
Your brain can't function without food. Bring lots of healthy snacks like sandwiches, nutrition bars, fruit, Wheathins, etc. Drink lots of water and stay away from junk food with little or no nutritional value.
Step5
Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night. This will allow your body to recuperate and it also allows you to better absorb the material your studying.

Tips & Warnings

  • Coffee may help you keep your edge, but drink it in moderation.
  • DO NOT Pull all nighters
