Significant amounts of blood can be lost during a nosebleed. Here are some tips you can use to stop that nosebleed quickly and effectively.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Lean your head back and pinch your nose. Make sure you pinch on the bridge of your nose, instead of closing off the nostrils. Keep your nose pinched for about 20 minutes.

  2. Step 2

Don't blow your nose while it is bleeding. This can further rupture the blood vessels and cause more bleeding or intensified bleeding. Just give it time.

  3. Step 3

If you are having frequent nosebleeds, it is very important that you see a doctor immediately. Dangerous conditions could be causing your nosebleeds.
