Step 1
Grey TowersVisit Grey Towers. This is the former home of Gifford Pinchot, the founder of the USDA Forest Service and twice elected Pennsylvania Governor. Grey Towers is now open as a national historic site with tours of the mansion and the outdoor garden areas.

Step 2
Spend an afternoon at Costa's Family Fun Park. Located just outside of Milford, this little place has a nice mix of activities for the entire family to enjoy. You can choose from go-carts, a water slide, an arcade, batting cages, a driving range, a miniature golf course, bumper boats, laser tag, a play area for younger kids...and delicious food! As a long-time visitor to this attraction, I can recommend it wholeheartedly. The staff is polite and friendly and the food is generously portioned and tasty, too.

Step 3
Apple Valley RestaurantDine and shop at Apple Valley Restaurant and Village. What started as a little pancake house and a few cottages has turned into a cozy restaurant and specialty shops. Aside from offering a delicious variety of food, Apple Valley Restaurant also has a full-service pub with monthly musical entertainment from local artists. The outdoor specialty shops include a candy store and a florist shop and you can also take a few moments to relax by the pond and feed the ducks.

Step 4
Bushkill FallsVisit Bushkill Falls. Also known as "The Niagra of Pennsylvania", Bushkill Falls offers a variety of trails (separated by length and difficulty) to view eight different waterfalls and to provide you with a firsthand experience of Pennsylvania's wildlife. This site also includes paddle boats, a fudge shop, a picnic area, a snack bar, wildlife exhibits and a gift shop.

Step 5
Kittatinny CanoesTake a trip down the Delaware River. Kittatinny Canoes, located in the heart of Milford, offers the unique experience of canoeing, kayaking, rafting or tubing down the Delaware River. The entire family can enjoy a day of rafting, while the more experienced guests can travel by kayak. Kittatinny's campgrounds cover nearly 250 acres with a trout stream, hiking, waterfront campsites and grills. If river activities are not your thing, you can also schedule a day of paintball on a mountaintop overlooking the river.
