    Check out the cruise from the Star Fleet Marina. Cruise time is from: 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm.     Go to the beach, pack up, leave early and enjoy the hot summer sun down on Galveston!

    Don't forget the parades. Check your local area Chamber of Commerce for more information. Many local parades take place on the 4th. ENJOY!

    FOR THE DOG DAYS OF SUMMER! Throw a pool party. If you have a pool, they will come! Buy some snack food, let family pitch in and bring food or drinks. Check out a party store or dollar store for great Red, White and Blue decorations and have a great time staying at home. Houston is very hot in the summer, go soak.

    Get a City Pass and have fun exploring Houston. Tickets cover these attractions: Space Center Houston (NASA), the Downtown Aquarium, Houston Museum of Natural Science, and Houston Zoo. Two Option tickets encourage you to customize your getaway. One Option Ticket gets you inside either The Health Museum OR George Ranch Historical Park. The second Option Ticket can be used for either Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, or The Children’s Museum of Houston. Ticket booklets are valid for nine leisurely days from day of first use. $24.00 for kids, $34.00 for adults. Now that is a deal!

Tips & Warnings
  • Shop for event tickets. If you are looking for several things to do over the long weekend. There are city tickets where you pay a set price for a number of outings.
  • For all outdoor activities, use sunscreen and reapply, drink lots of water and stay in the shade. Have fun and be safe all at one time!
  • Be safe and have a designated driver.
