Indianapolis, Indiana is the home to many attractions, such as the Annual Northern Midwest ZNA Koi Fish Show, the Indianapolis Museum of Art Garden Walks, the Dinner in the Diner Train and the Indy 500. Indianapolis is also home to Block Party.

From Quick Guide: Throw a Great Block Party
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make hotel reservations in or near Indianapolis, if one doesn't already live near there. Try the Crowne Plaza Union Station, located at 123 W Louisiana Street in Indianapolis or try the Canterbury at 123 S Illinois Street, also in Indianapolis. Both of these hotels have swimming pools and are fairly close to all the action of the Indianapolis Block Party.

  2. Step 2

Take a trip to the Block Party. Indianapolis' Block Party, located at 4102 Claire Drive in Indianapolis, is more than just an arcade. It has 125 arcade games, a full service restaurant and two attractions. The restaurant is casual, so there is no need for one to dress up for the occasion. There are virtual reality games, a motion simulator ride and the Power Grid 4-level Maze at the Indianapolis Block Party.

  3. Step 3

Know that admission is free for the Indianapolis Block Party, but one must pay to play the games. The games do not take quarters, because one must fill an arcade card with cash credits, the use of which vary by game, to play the games.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be aware that after 8 p.m. Indianapolis' Block Party becomes a facility for people 21 years and older.
