If you plan to take a vacation, you may be able to save money by looking into an all-inclusive resort. An all-inclusive resort has you pay for everything up front. Meals, entertainment, activities and beverages are all included in the initial fee. Alcoholic beverages may or may not be included in the price.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Figure out where you would like to spend your vacation and look into the all-inclusive packages available for that destination. Therefore, check with a travel agent to find out if the place you want to visit has an all-inclusive resort.

  2. Step 2

Check out the price of the all-inclusive resort. Weigh the pros and cons of vacationing at an all-inclusive resort against what it would cost for a hotel, food and entertainment if you paid for them separately

  3. Step 3

Understand what the all-inclusive resort's price includes. Most all-inclusive resorts include rooms, meals, activities, gratuities and entertainment in their prices. However, there may be some activities that are not included--such as water sports--or they may not include alcoholic beverages in the price.

  4. Step 4

Consider the activities a resort offers and see what they offer for children. Some all-inclusive resorts provide babysitters, but you have to pay extra for them. Check all the details before you book your trip.

  5. Step 5

Take a cruise--this is also an all-inclusive resort. Except for gambling and maybe alcoholic beverages, everything is included in the price.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can find all-inclusive resorts for family vacations, couples-only vacations and honeymoons. No matter what type of vacation it is, an all-inclusive resort has it.
