Sometimes you might just need a little extra presence and what better way to pull it off than to rent an exotic car. At up to $1,500 for a 24-hour period, it can be pricey to rent an exotic car. But for a day's worth of fun, it may be worth it to impress your date with your Ferrari Saleen S7, Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder or Bentley Continental Flying Spur.

From Quick Guide: Superstar Rent-a-Cars
Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Locate an exotic car rental company close to your area. Exotic Car Rental Directory has a list of exotic car rental companies in the United States (see Resources).

  2. Step 2

Make sure your insurance is current. You will be required to either carry liability and physical damage insurance that covers rental cars.

  3. Step 3

Complete a rental application and agreement. Each person who will be driving may be required to feel out a separate application and present a valid driver's license.

  4. Step 4

Decide if you would like to drive yourself or have a professional chauffeur. Many exotic rental car companies offer professional drivers for an extra charge.

  5. Step 5

Understand the power under the hood of that $400,000 Ferrari before you get behind the wheel. Take it for a test drive before you hit the road.

Tips & Warnings
  • Most major cities have exotic rental car companies.
  • Drivers under 25 may be charged an additional "underage" driver fee.
  • Many rental car companies impose a mileage restriction.
