Sometimes your credit rating is compromised by either irresponsibility or circumstances beyond our control. Whatever the reason, getting a car loan can be difficult. Since having a car is considered a necessity, there are ways to finance one. No credit check car loans are good because you don't need good credit; however, the creditor usually doesn't report to a credit agency, which doesn't improve, or lower, your credit rating.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit a car lot that will finance you regardless of your credit. Most of these car lots will give you no credit check car loans on vehicles below a certain price. The car lot will require proof of income and a valid driver's license.

  2. Step 2

See if a local major dealership will do in-house financing. If you've been a good customer in the past or you have a reasonable story as to why your credit has gone down the tubes, many times, a dealer with work something out with you. In-house financing usually doesn't require a credit check. Although, if you don't meet certain requirements, you may be asked to find a co-signer.

  3. Step 3

Ask a friend or family member to finance you. You don't have to go through a finance company to get a car loan. Many times, someone you know will give you a low-interest no credit check car loan. Just be careful to honor your agreement; you don't want to lose a friend.

Tips & Warnings
  • By not reporting to a credit bureau, your co-signer won't have an additional loan show up to lower his credit score. Also, if you default, his credit won't be tainted.
  • A no credit check loan usually doesn't raise your credit score if you make your payments on time.
  • You may be asked to make a large down payment.
  • You may be required to purchase credit life insurance, gap insurance or an extended warranty.
