Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Old cards and invitations
- Scissors
-
Step 1
Make an electronic invitation. Electronic invitations produce no waste and are as simple as point and click. Design eco-friendly, electronic party invitations for all occasions at Evite or Sendomatic (see Resources below).
-
Step 2
Create invitations on flowerseed paper, which has dozens of seeds embedded in it. After guests receive the invitation, they plant it in the ground and grow flowers. It produces no waste and enhances the environment. Purchase flowerseed paper online at the flowerseed paper Web site (see Resources below).
-
Step 3
Design invitations on treeless paper, which is much more eco-friendly than standard paper. There are several treeless paper sets to choose from at the gourmet mushroom products Web site (see Resources below).
-
Step 4
Create eco-friendly party invitations out of old birthday cards, party invitations and holiday cards. Cut off the card's cover and write all of the pertinent party invitation on the back. Make a note on the bottom that they are recycled invitations.
