Tightwad Budget Software is a user-friendly program that helps individuals and businesses keep track of their budget. Users of Tightwad Budget Software have the ability to calculate a functional budget, view expenses, and view and print financial reports.

Step1

Download Tightwad Budget Software. Install Tightwad and open the program.

Step2

Set up your budget. Click on the boxes beside the item that best describes your expense and enter the expense information in the box listed. Click "Create Budget" when you finish entering all of the expenses.

Step3

Click the "Add Income" button. Input your income amount and type in the boxes provided. Choose "Add" to include another income.

Step4

Select "View Budget" to see a breakdown of both expenses and income. Select the month or year from the drop-down menu to view the budget for a specific month or year.

Delete income or expenses. Click on the red "X" beside the record.

Step6

Choose "Reports" to get a list of financial reports available to you. Select a report from the list to open it. Right-click on the report and select "Print" to print the report.

Step7

Select "File" and then "Options" to change the appearance of Tightwad Budget Software. Change the main color, font color, font size and font style by manipulating the options in the pop-up box.
