If you enjoy the benefits of a bidet then you already know what great additions they are in the bathroom. As with any other plumbing fixture, if you have problems then you need to find bidet parts to fix it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Identify the source of the problem. Often you will find the bidet's mixing valve is at fault.
Step2
Decide whether you want to replace the whole valve assembly or just the offending part or parts. Many times it's easier to replace the whole valve assembly or drain assembly rather than a specific part.
Step3
Locate a suppler who stocks specialty bidet parts. A specific part needs a special supplier such as Need Plumbing Supplies, available online.
Step4
Disassemble the valve assembly or drain assembly with the problem. Replace the corroded or broken part or parts causing the problem. Clean thoroughly and check for any other potential problems while you have the assembly apart.
Step5
Reassemble the valve assembly or drain assembly. Use the installation instructions that came with your fixture if you still have them. If not, contact the maker of the fixture and ask for a copy.

Tips & Warnings

  • Bidets are not a common household appliance in the US as of yet, so it might be difficult to find the exact parts you need for your bidet. As the popularity of bidets increase, parts will become more available.
