How to Make a Wheat Husk Facial Scrub

Brighten up your skin in a big hurry with a wheat husk facial scrub. Wheat husks are wonderful exfoliants, removing dead and dull skin, leaving only a bright and healthy complexion. Wheat husks make a great facial scrub for both men and women.

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 ripe tomato
  • Fork
  • Small bowl
  • 1 tbsp. wheat husk
  • 1 tsp. pure honey

    Wheat Husk and Honey Facial Scrub

  1. Step 1

    Put 3/4 cup of wheat husks into a small mixing bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Stir in the pure honey and and cream, and stir until the mixture forms a thick paste. If the mixture seems too thin, gradually add more wheat husks until the facial scrub reaches the consistency you want. If it's too thick, add a few more drops of cream.

  3. Step 3

    Apply the wheat husk facial scrub to your neck and face, avoiding your eye area.

  4. Step 4

    Massage the facial scrub into your skin for about 5 minutes, and rinse with cool water. Pat your skin dry.

  6. Step 1

    Place the ripe tomato in a small bowl and mash it with a fork.

  7. Step 2

    Stir the wheat husks and pure honey into the tomato pulp to form a thick paste.

    Massage the wheat husk and tomato facial scrub into your face and neck, and allow it to remain for 10 minutes.

  9. Step 4

    Rinse your face with cool water, and dry it with a soft towel. Apply your favorite moisturizer.
