Ingredients for a great facial are no further away than your own refrigerator. Avocado and carrots may sound like something healthy to eat, but the when blended together, they make a wonderful facial for dry or mature skin. Scrub and peel the carrot and cook it in boiling water for 15 minutes. Allow it to cool slightly.

Place the cooked carrot in a blender or food processor and add the peeled, ripe avocado, honey, extra virgin olive oil and heavy cream.

Puree the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Wash your face and neck as usual. Smooth the avocado and carrot facial mask on your face and neck, avoiding the areas around your mouth and eyes

Leave the avocado and carrot face mask on your face for 15 to 20 minutes, then wipe it off with a damp cloth.
