Step 1
Use twist-ties liberally. Those little metal, paper-covered twist-ties that come in every package of trash bags make great tools for hiking up wires and hiding them behind an electronic item. Tie the cord into itself as you wrap it. If the wire is really long, wrap it in two sections, and then use another tie to attach the two sections together, close behind the unit.

Step 2
Purchase double-pointed wire tacks that are as close to the color of the table or unit on which you are placing your electronics. Run the wire on the back legs of the table with the tacks. If you have to run the tacks along a wall, get them to match the color of the wall.
-
Step 3
Use a wide raceway cover to hide a lot of wires in one place. Get a raceway that matches your wall, or paint it to match. Run the raceway evenly from the units to the floor, making it look like a design all its own.

Step 4
Push wires under the edge of a carpet or baseboard. If you have a basement, you can drill a small hole through the floor, you won't even see it if you have carpeting. Push your extra wire through the hole and let it hang in the basement or under the floorboards where no one will see it anyway.
