1
Let your hair air-dry. Leave the hair dryer on the shelf and let the hair dry free of any movement. If you are in a hurry and must dry your hair, use a diffuser, which is a big cone that fits on the end of a hair dryer and sends the hot air in a wider area. Squeeze your hair as the dryer moves over each section.

2
Scrunch up your hair after washing and don't comb it. The curls will pick themselves up and dry closer to the way you leave it without combing.

-
3
Spray your hair while it is still wet. Use a very light hairspray that won't add weight to the hair.
-
4
Use shampoos that are light and made for curly hair. They will rinse out cleaner and not weigh down your hair and pull out any natural curl that you might have.
-
5
Avoid conditioners and other oils that go on the hair after washing. They will only make the hair thinner and less curly. Too much conditioning on thinner hair can make it limper than normal too.
-
6
Keep your hair as natural as you can. Permanent hair color and other hair products contain chemicals that can harm the cuticle of the hair and make it dry and brittle. To enhance the natural curl in any hair type, let it go natural.
