The position of class president is more than a popularity game. A good class president can influence positive changes and be a great leader. If you become class president through a professional campaign, you can use this position and the skills you learned in it on your resume or college application to make you stand apart.

Make a simple website that includes a photo of you, your personal interests, your view for the future and what you plan to accomplish as class president.

3. Use online social networking tools to your benefit. Social networking websites allow you to interact with your supporters, post events you'll be attending, as well as any other information pertinent to your campaign to become class president.

4. Be personable. It means you need to be nice to everyone from the most popular to the least popular person in your class. Treat everyone equally and be sincere.

5. Prove that you're responsible. Keep your grades up. Study. Do well in the sports or any other extracurricular activity you choose to participate in.
