Get a copy of the festival program. Find a quiet spot to read through it for activities that catch your eye.

Select the four or five events that interest you most. If you like music, there are five stages to choose from including gospel, jazz, world and folk. Want to check out handmade crafts? Visit the juried show or the International Bazaar. Want to sit quietly in a cool place? Check out the three cyber artists in the interactive arts tent or visit Susan Mampre's meditative public art piece.

Plan to stay all day so you can do everything on your list.

If you have children with you, check out some of the exciting activities prepared for them. Your kids will love touching and making things in the 14 children's activities or joining in the public art parade every hour on the half hour.

Time to eat? There will be 50 vendors from all over the world selling a variety of delicious treats.

Get involved! This is your chance to learn to swing dance, taste specialty coffee, write a poem, contribute to a story online or walk on stilts, to name just a few of the numerous possibilities.
