Step 1
Consider the ultrasound technician's evaluation to be accurate; most won't make a prediction unless they get a clear view of the baby's genitals.
-
Step 2
Trust the results of your amniocentesis, if you have one.
-
Step 3
Thread a needle or use a necklace with a charm and have someone else suspend it above your belly. If the needle (charm) swings back and forth, a boy is in your future; if it moves in a circle, count on a girl.
-
Step 4
Feeling really really nauseous during your first trimester is a sign you are having a girl; low levels of nausea means it's a boy.
-
Step 5
You've got a boy if your belly bulge is high up on your abdomen; carry low, and you're having a girl.
-
Step 6
Breaking out often? Feeling extra-bloated? Many people would say that you're having a girl and that she is already stealing your beauty.
-
Step 7
Looking back to the moment of truth - if the act that led to your conception was performed standing up, you'll have a boy; if the woman was on top you'll have a girl.

on 5/31/2009 I have two boys I am pregnant with my third child. I had morning sickness with all three pregnancies, but this one is turning out to be much worse than the other two. I am hoping to have a girl. Can anyone tell me whether or not their experience with bad morning sickness led to a girl?

on 4/27/2008 the part about the carrying high and low part is backwards.. girls carry high and boys carry low...thats old..i dont know how they would have gotten that wrong....and its hard to tell with the sickness...my sister had a girl first, and she is pregnant with a boy now and has had no morning sickness with either. its hard to tell..but i go by how you carry more than anything...not often is it wrong.

on 12/15/2008 I have one boy and one girl I'm expecting my third child and it's completely different to the first too. Every one keeps telling me it has to be twins, I was so sick the first twelve weeks and have allot of weight on. I can't wait till the scan. Boy or girl if they are healthy we will be very happy.
