This cousin to the whiskey sour is best made with fresh lemon juice, even though some recipes call for sour mix instead. Serves one.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Rub a lemon around the rim of a tumbler.

  2. Step 2

    Dip the rim in granulated sugar.

  3. Step 3

    Shake amaretto with the lemon juice and cracked ice in a cocktail shaker.

  4. Step 4

    Strain the cocktail over ice into a glass.

  5. Step 5

    Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

  6. Step 6

    Add a swizzle stick.

Tips & Warnings
  • Mixed drinks contain alcohol, so exercise moderation.
  • Never drink and drive.
