How to Make an Amaretto Sour

This cousin to the whiskey sour is best made with fresh lemon juice, even though some recipes call for sour mix instead. Serves one. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

  Rub a lemon around the rim of a tumbler.

  Dip the rim in granulated sugar.

  Shake amaretto with the lemon juice and cracked ice in a cocktail shaker.

  Strain the cocktail over ice into a glass.

  Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

  Add a swizzle stick.
