Putting pillowcases on pillows can be tricky. Follow these steps to make it a little simpler.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Check that the pillowcases are the correct size for the pillows.

  2. Step 2

Hold the uncovered pillow tightly between your chin and chest, so that the pillow lies lengthwise along your stomach. Be sure any tags on the pillow are facing the floor.

  3. Step 3

Grasp the pillowcase with one hand on each side of the open end and begin pulling it over the bottom end of the pillow.

  4. Step 4

Let go with your chin once the pillowcase is halfway up the pillow and shake the pillow into the pillowcase the rest of the way.

Tips & Warnings
  • If the pillows are longer than your reach, sit down and "fold" the pillow in your lap while still holding one end under your chin.
  • If the pillow doesn't fall easily into the pillowcase, you may need to reach inside, grasp the bottom corners of the pillow and pull them down to the lower corners of the pillowcase.
  • Buy new pillowcases or pillows if those you have are too large or too small.

on 11/22/2005 Turn pillowcase inside out. Reach in, grab far corners of case, then grab 2 corners of the pillow. Flip case over pillow, turning it right side out.
