  • Women's Wool Sweaters
  • Anniversary Greeting Cards
  • Desk Set

  1. Step 1

Think about the way your spouse lives: Are they modern or a bit more formal?

  2. Step 2

Traditional gifts for year seven are copper or wool. For wool, how about sweaters, rugs, blankets, wall hangings, ski hats and lift tickets, or a trip to Scotland to see traditional weavers? For copper, think pots and pans or cooking lessons.

  3. Step 3

Consider the contemporary alternative for this anniversary: desk set items. Matching cellular phones could be romantic.

  4. Step 4

Find a card to accompany your gift.

  5. Step 5

Wrap and deliver the gift, or have it sent.

Tips & Warnings
  • You don't have to take the seventh-year theme literally. Copper can be Coppertone sun lotion and a weekend jaunt to a sunny locale, while wool can be a joke present of matching wool socks.

on 2/4/2008 If you don't want to give cookware, look at handcrafted, hammered copper vases and bowls. They are watertight, so you can buy flowers to fill them. They can also be engraved.
