How to Make Nonalcoholic Orange Eggnog

Virgin egg nog is typically a holiday drink, served chilled or at room temperature. This rich, nonalcoholic recipe incorporates the nontraditional ingredients of orange juice, ice cream and ginger ale. Serves 12.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dash Of Ground Cloves
  • Grated Nutmeg
  • Irish Coffee Mugs
  • Cocktail Strainer
  • Punch Bowls
  • 1 qt. ginger ales
  • 1/8 tsp. ground gingers
  • 1/4 cup lemon juices
  • 1 qt. orange juice
  • 2 qt. vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  1. Step 1

    In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy.

  2. Step 2

    Mix in orange juice, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.

  3. Step 3

    Put vanilla ice cream in a large punch bowl.

  4. Step 4

    Add the egg mixture and beat until thick.

  5. Step 5

    Refrigerate mixture for at least an hour.

  6. Step 6

    Before serving, pour in ginger ale.

  7. Step 7

    Strain into chilled Irish-coffee mugs.

  8. Step 8

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Tips & Warnings
