How to Make Hot Mulled Cider in a Crock-Pot

Nothing takes off an autumn or winter chill like hot mulled cider. This recipe is especially easy to prepare and practically cooks itself. Serves six. Does this Spark an idea?

  • 1 1/2 tsp. whole allspice
  • 3 quarts apple cider
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp. whole cloves
  • 4 strips orange zest
  • Groceries
  • Crock-Pots
  • Ladles
  • Mesh Tea Balls

Instructions

      Put brown sugar, cider, orange zest and cinnamon sticks in a Crock-Pot.

      Put allspice and whole cloves into a tea strainer and float it in the cider.

      Cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours.

      Serve from the pot using a ladle.
