A die-hard football fan will never leave the stands, so dress for warmth and comfort and be prepared for any kind of weather.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Check the evening weather on the Weather Channel or your local station.
Step2
Wear comfortable, layered clothing so that you can add an item if you are too cool or remove something if you're too warm.
Step3
Don't forget your sunglasses, ball cap and sunscreen if it's a sunny, warm day.
Step4
Wear something with deep pockets - or a fanny pack - to keep your money in.
Step5
Take a small backpack if the weather is looking iffy. Include gloves, a rain poncho, an umbrella or a large trash bag to put over your head if it rains.
Step6
Wear comfortable shoes for hiking to your seat and standing in lines.
Step7
Take binoculars for a close-up view of the action.
Step8
Wear your team's colors or have the team's mascot painted on your face.

Tips & Warnings

  • Take extra trash bags. In case of rain, your friends will be glad you did.
  • Some ballparks have strict rules about what can be brought in. Check before bringing glass bottles, alcoholic beverages or coolers.

on 1/27/2006 If you're a die-hard fan, dress like the team. Just like how Oakland Raider fans dress up like real Raiders in silver and black.

on 1/9/2006 If the forecast for the game is snow and it's an outdoor stadium, be sure to wear at least 4 layers of clothing on your torso - undershirt, sweatshirt, undercoat, overcoat. Wear thick sweatpants under your regular pants. Sneakers are useless - you will freeze your feet off. Wear snow boots. Wear thermal gloves, with the option of leather gloves underneath. Leather gloves by themselves will be useless. Wear a wool hat.

on 11/22/2005 Wear your team's t-shirt or logo in some upper body form of clothing. Hopefully, your favorite team is playing that day, so it will be good way to show your support as well as being fashion smart!

on 11/22/2005 Never, ever, ever wear your hair down if it's going to be a windy day. Especially if it's a sunny, hot and windy day. Imagine your hair sticking to an ice cream cone. Not fun.
