How to Dry Sprouts

Any type of sprout can be dehydrated. After the sprouts are dried, they will add a wonderful nutlike flavor to your cooking.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sprouts
  • Cookie Sheets
  • Cookie sheets
  1. Step 1

    Wash and drain sprouts well before drying.

  2. Step 2

    Spread sprouts thinly over a cookie sheet or tray.

  3. Step 3

    Dry in the oven at 120 degrees F until crispy and crunchy - about 8 to 12 hours. Stir occasionally and rotate cookie sheets after about 4 hours.

  4. Step 4

    Alternatively, place in well-ventilated area in full sun. Dry for 1 to 2 days, stirring occasionally and rotating trays every 8 to 10 hours.
