Tips & Warnings
Try to avoid buying gag gifts that will lose their appeal as soon as the initial fascination has worn off.
Even if you think it's about time he started working out, giving a gym membership might not be appreciated unless he's ready.
If you can afford it, buy a fabulous and expensive tie, designer shirt, bottle of wine, pen or museum piece.
A weekend away is something you both can enjoy. Buy him something sexy for the weekend trip. Silk boxers, massage oil or aromatherapy candles are some ideas.

Something that is for him but special because of something you've shared is also a good bet. I just picked up the newest CD from a band whose concert we attended when we started dating - a great night and a band we both love. It's going in his car so he knows the gift is really just for him. -

Sometimes, an inexpensive gift adds to the real gift. Try a Burger King crown to make him king for a day. Add kings from a deck of cards with your "gift" written on them (for example, "Good for one massage"). You can also give him a mini-bottle of his favorite liquor, a card to say that he has someone who cares about who he is, a miniature toy of his favorite car or motorcycle, or something that relates to an inside joke between you. I gave my guy a miniature rum-flavored cigar because it brought back memories of a summer day on the lake. Just about anything can make him feel special. -
