Tips & Warnings
If grandpa doesn't already own a computer, an answering machine, an electronic organizer, a VCR or a CD player, he may not be interested in learning how to use them. Avoid buying such things unless you are sure they'll be appreciated and used.
An inexpensive tape player makes a good gift for grandpa. The grandkids can make tapes and send them to him. Be sure the tape player has a record function if you'd like grandpa to send tapes back to the kids.
