The Chinese principles of feng shui stress the importance of setting up your office so that the flow of energy does not cause disturbances. This is critical for having a clear mind and good fortune in your business.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Position the desk so that you have clear sight of the door, with the wall at your back. This position allows you to see who is entering, while the wall represents the tortoise, which provides you with security and protection.

  2. Step 2

Keep the area in front of the desk clear, allowing the phoenix ample space to fly ahead.

  3. Step 3

Avoid placing your desk beside or directly opposite the door. These positions put you in the direct path of the energy flow.

  4. Step 4

Avoid situating the desk so that you are facing a wall. The wall acts as a barrier and is confining.

  5. Step 5

Avoid placing files and copy machines in the center of a room. The placement will cause disturbances in the flow of energy.
