How to Clear a Browser's Cache on a PC

A full cache can slow down your browser. Be sure to empty it regularly.

Instructions

Internet Explorer Version 5

1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.

2. Click on the General tab.

3. Click on Delete Files.

4. Click on OK.

Netscape Navigator Version 4.61

1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.

2. Click on the plus sign next to the Advanced heading to reveal subcategories.

3. Click on Cache.

4. Click on Clear Memory Cache.

5. Click on OK.

6. Click on Clear Disk Cache.

7. Click on OK.
