How to Take a Bubble Bath

Bubble baths aren't just for kids. A nice, hot bath is a great way to relax and unwind.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • CD Players
  • Aromatherapy Candles
  • Scented Candle Set
  • Bath Oils
  • Bubble Baths
  • Loofahs
  • Soothing CD
  1. Step 1

    Unplug the phone.

  2. Step 2

    Lock the door to prevent intruders like kids and spouses.

  3. Step 3

    Stop the drain in the tub.

  4. Step 4

    Light aromatherapy candles. Choose lavender to relieve stress and sandalwood to relax.

  5. Step 5

    Turn on the water and adjust the temperature to your liking.

  6. Step 6

    Pour a small amount of bubble bath ' or the amount recommended on the bottle label - into the running water.

  7. Step 7

    Allow the bathtub to fill with water and suds. If you are not satisfied with the amount of suds in the water, add more bubble bath into the running water.

  8. Step 8

    Turn off the water when the tub has filled. Replenish hot water as needed.

  9. Step 9

    Slowly enter the bath water, feet first.

  10. Step 10

    Breathe deeply and relax.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try putting on a little background music to help you relax ' but don't keep electronic devices close enough to the tub that they might fall in.
  • Don't forget your rubber ducky or other bath toys.
  • If you are pregnant or have dry skin, opt for warm water as opposed to hot.
  • Keep in mind that ingredients in some bubble baths can be drying to the skin ' choose a product with moisturizers such as aloe or vitamin E.

on 8/8/2006 Try adding baby oil or baby skin wash to the running water instead. You don't get the fun of bubbles, but you definitely feel the difference in your skin afterward.
