Here's one way to be a high roller on the Vegas strip or in an Online Casino.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dice
  1. Step 1

Decide whether you want to bet with or against the shooter.

  2. Step 2

Place your chips on the "Pass" line to bet with the shooter. Place them on the "Don't Pass" line to bet against the shooter.

  3. Step 3

Watch as the shooter rolls the dice. "Pass" bets win instantly and "Don't Pass" bets lose instantly if 7 or 11 are rolled. "Pass" bets lose instantly and "Don't Pass" bets win instantly if 2, 3 or 12 are rolled. If any other number is rolled, an original value, or "point," is established.

  4. Step 4

If the shooter has established a point, he or she continues to roll the dice until the original value is rolled again or until 7 is rolled. "Pass" bets win if the original value is rolled again before 7. Otherwise, "Don't Pass" bets win.

  5. Step 5

If the shooter wins the point, he or she rolls again to begin a new game. If the shooter loses the point, the person to his or her right begins the new game.

Tips & Warnings
  • "Pass" and "Don't Pass" are two of the most common bets in craps. There are many other bets of varying levels of complexity.
  • Learning to play craps at a casino is much more confusing than blackjack or roulette, as there are many players and activities happening at once. You can practice for free at an online casino to build your skills for your debut at the tables in Vegas.
  • Many casinos have rules against concealing the dice while rolling. Be sure to follow the house rules.
  • When choosing an online casino, stick to the reputable casinos that have been in business for several years such as Casino-on-net / 888 or Golden Palace.

on 11/22/2005 Remember that the Don't Pass wins if a 2 or 3 is thrown on the first roll. However, if 12 is thrown, it's a push. Some casinos push on the 2. If that's the case, then they pay on the 3 and 12.
