- Engagement Rings
- Bridal Magazines
- Wedding Bands
- Bridal magazines
-
Step 1
Browse through bridal magazines to get ideas.
-
Step 2
Ask friends and family for recommended jewelers to make your bands. This method is usually less expensive and more personal.
-
Step 3
Select a band that goes with the bride's engagement ring so they can be worn together.
-
Step 4
Ask family members for heirlooms. There just might be an ideal band from a great-grandparent tucked into your mom's jewelry box.
-
Step 5
Try on different widths to see what looks best on your hand.
-
Step 6
Once you've chosen the bands, have the wedding date engraved on the inside. Other sentiments may be added if there's space.

on 12/28/2008 Aside from the fact that I purchased a platinum band for my fiancee's engagement ring, I new platinum was the perfect choice for my own wedding ring from the qualities I discovered it possessed. As a man, I am not used to wearing a ring and can tell you that as an active and handy man, need it to be very durable. Platinum is perfect for a lifetime of everyday wear. As other metals lose metal over time, platinum will only scratch on the surface and can be polished back to new. In comparison to other "masculine metals" like titanium and tungsten, titanium is extremely heavy and tungsten can't be resized. I like the white color of the metal as well. We had our bands made and it was not as expensive as most people believe platinum to be, well worth it!
