If you have thick and hard toenails, soak them in warm water for 3-5 minutes to soften them. Make sure you dry your toenails before clipping, so that they won't be slippery. -

Cut your toenails outside, so you don't need to worry about runaway ones! -

If your nails are always getting ingrown, cut a little "V" in the middle of your nail. It looks ugly, but it causes the nails to grow away from the sides,and towards the middle. Sounds crazy, but it works. The nail moves to the least resistance.
